Afternoon ladies & gents!
As you may have seen throughout stores, advertisements and blog reviews Herbal Essences has a new ‘Clearly Naked’ range for those who use natural products this is exciting! I decided to pick some of the range up from Asda which I thought was reasonably priced.
These products contain grapefruit and mint extracts while eliminated the usual parabens and dyes. The shampoo even containts 100% no silicone.. fantastic!
I have been using these products for a few weeks whenever I wash my hair, so what are the products like when put to the test?
Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Moisture Shampoo (RRP £2.35)*
First up is the moisture shampoo, I have not really used this on it’s own as I use both shampoo and conditioner for my hair otherwise it would be a knotted mess! Whilst using it in the shower It thoroughly cleans the hair leaving it feeling refreshed and revitalised. Another advantage of the product is that it smells absolutely fantastic. Overall I am pretty pleased with this product and it does it’s job very well.
Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Moisture Conditioner (£2.35)*
Secondly is the moisture conditioner, as stated above I do not use these products alone however I am extremely pleased with this as it leaves my hair feeling like silk and does not give an oily greasy look afterwards which I have found with many conditioners. The scent of the conditioner once applied to the hair and rinsed is long lasting, I have found that you are still able to smell it the next morning.
Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo (£2.99)
Lastly, unfortunately I have found the dry shampoo not as effective as other dry shampoo brands such as Batiste (results pictured below). It does dry out some of the excess oils in my hair and smells great but I have to use quite a large amount in order to see results which leaves a white powdery residue on my hair.
* currently on offer for £2 at Asda
Once dry shampoo applied
