I set up an affiliate program with Health designs (can be seen on my blog sidebar) and was kindly gifted 20$ to spend on Health Designs store which covers a range of products from beauty, health to grocery and pets. I headed straight over to their bath and beauty section of the website which a lot of their items were set at a discounted price and decided to pick up lots of makeup brushes and some exfoliating items.
*Real Techniques Travel Essentials (RRP $18 on sale at $15/£9.77)
Includes 3 full-size brushes + case
Essential foundation brush, multitask brush, domed shadow brush.
Panoramic brush case is a 2-in-1 case + stand
I was excited to purchase these brushes as I have seen many blog posts about them and how great they are so it will be interesting to test for myself and for a fantastic price of £9.77 you really could not pass on that offer. Unfortunately these have not turned up yet as the package had to be separated until they came back in stock as they are flying off the shelves.
*Real Techniques Shading Brush (RRP $6 on sale at $5.10/£3.26)
Look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
Ultra-plush, synthetic bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free
Extended aluminium handle is light and easy to use
Again another product that I was excited to purchase and at another great price too considering their actual retail price. I love the look of these products as they look and feel so expensive due to their outstanding quality. The tip of the brush feels quite firm but soft so I do not get the feel like they are going to break after a few months of use. Another aspect of this product that I love is that they are 100% cruelty-free which is always a great thing to look for in a brand.
*Ecotools Mini Essentials Set (RRP$ 5.99 on sale at $4.85/£3.10)
Start with the full powder brush to create a flawless base with pressed or mineral powder
Use the eye shading brush to apply shadow along the eyelid and crease and highlight brow bone
Add final definition with the angled liner brush by using the ultra-flat angled tip to liner your eye with cream liner or shadow
These miniature and cute Ecotools products are made from bamboo and recycled materials again hitting that aspect that I love in a brand – even the box is made from recycled material! The mini set comes with a powder brush, eyes shading brush and an angled liner brush which is great for all your beauty needs.
*Ecotools Bath Shower Mitt ($2.99 on sale at $2.53/£1.62)
“The threads extracted from the plant are among the strongest natural fibers in the world. What makes it ideal for use in a bath and shower mit is it’s remarkable composition. It becomes even stronger when wet and it is renowned for it’s ability to retain shape, reduce wrinkling, and add a silky luster to any fabric it is combined with. Furthermore, as the plant can be harvested up to six times a year, it means it is fully sustainable. This use of natural, sustainable materials means not only is your skin getting the greatest care available, but the planet is being cared for at the same time. It is also available in fun colours which will brighten up any bath time.”
I love the feel of this product i’ve found it to not be too rough for your skin allowing it to gently exfoliate which in turn would not leave your body with red marks allover, the product comes in 3 colours, purple, blue and green.
*Ecotools Dual-Sided Facial Buffs (RRP $1.99 on sale at $1.47/£0.94)
“Reveal your radiant skin with this Dual Sided Body Buff! The natural loofah side gently exfoliates, while the soft side lathers for a smooth cleanse! This two-sided necessity has a convertible strap for extra control during use.”
What I love about these facial buffs is that they come with a little strap for your fingers to slide in making it super easy to keep hold of the buff and exfoliate your face. The product is also quite soft considering it is an exfoliating pad so it is not too harsh on your face, it is also advised that you use the bamboo side of the buff for lathering and the soft cleanse with your facial cleanser to gain optimum results.
*Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps – Organic Lip Balm (RRP $2.99 on sale at $2.69/£1.72)
“Certified to National Organic Standards our lip balms are based on pure organic oils and beeswax free of petrochemically modified ingredients. The organic avocado oil and beeswax provide excellent lip protection while the organic jojoba and hemp oils assist moisturization. Only the finest organic essential oils are used for fragrance.”
Again Unfortunately these have not turned up yet as the package had to be separated until they came back in stock as they are flying off the shelves. Though I am forever getting dry lips so a good lip balm is essential, I thought I would give this product a try as the description sounded great and I love orange and ginger!
Please note: this post will be updated with further images when the products are received.
As a thank you to all my readers I will be hosting a give away for the Ecotools Mini Set, Ecotools Dual-Sided Facial Buffs and Ecotools Bath & Shower Mitt so keep your eyes peeled for the giveaway post!
