C25K Week 3


I have previously posted about my running journey before on the blog which you can read here, a couple of weeks ago I started up running again from week 1 using the C25K app on my iphone after my ankle injury and have been running on week 3 for the past couple of weeks. Week 3 consists of a 5 minute warm up warm, 90 seconds of jogging, 90 seconds walking, 3 minutes of jogging and 3 minutes of walking and repeat.

Lately I have been really struggling to get past the 1:50 mark on the 3 minute jog, I feel like I need to catch my breath and then i’m fine to carry on which is why I have repeated week 3 quite a few times as I don’t want to progress onto week 4 without being able to be confident in running for the time periods that week 3 requires.

If anyone has any tips on how I could progress and push myself to be able to do the whole 3 minutes I would be grateful.
