Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

Apologies for being away from the blog lately, I have been super busy with last minute bits for the wedding and the little one as she has four teeth coming through at once, the poor little thing so i’ve not actually had chance to blog after coming home from work.

Ever since I saw the release of this Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette (£38) I lusted over it, it was a definite must have in my makeup collection as I am a sucker for a smoky eye. A couple of weeks ago I headed over to Selfridges to grab it and a few other bits but they didn’t have an Urban Decay counter in their store *sad face* so I grabbed it online. I have to admit I am a little impatient when I have ordered something as I want to try it out and use it instantly, but Selfridges provided a pretty speedy delivery service even with their standard delivery option, which is great in my opinion.

This absolutely stunning palette has been packed with sultry, smoky neutrals, including nine never-before-seen shades and three exclusives from past palettes. Not only is it packed with 12 beautiful shades it is full of intense pigments, buttery shades, fantastic lasting power and blendability, can it get better than that?!

Well, yes. Naked Smokey comes in a beautiful plastic almost clear looking palette with a smoky design fully incorporating their theme, with a large sized mirror and magnetised lid, it is honestly beautiful.

The shades are as follows; High, Dirty Sweet, Radar, Armour, Slanted, Dagger, Black Market, Smoulder, Black Market, Password, Whiskey, Combust, Thirteen.

My favourite of the bunch have to be Smoulder, Radar, Slanted and Dagger, I just love how you can create both day and night looks from this palette and Urban Decay have even incorporated a guide on 3 smokey eye looks if you don’t know where to start! This palette has definitely been my go to for eye makeup for the past couple of weeks and is without a doubt a monthly favourite.

What are your favourite shades?
