LUSH Cosmetics | Mini Haul

It’s been quite a while since i’ve done a Lush haul, my closest store now is Cardiff which isn’t that far away from where I live but I don’t tend to head that way often so when I was in Cardiff last week I HAD to go in store.

I’ve been wanting to pick up Sleepy which is one of Lush’s recent new products for quite some time but I was holding out until I could try it first hand. There’s been a lot of attention on this especially from mums saying how it’s worked wonders with helping their kids sleep so I grabbed a sample of it in store and loved it so I went ahead and purchased the 95g pot (£7.95).

Sleepy has a gentle oatmeal infusion, calming lavender flower and sweet tonka absolute, it smells pretty incredible! I’m not quite sure whether it makes the little one sleep better as she’s always been a pretty good sleeper anyway and always has anything between 10-12 hours a night but it does make her skin incredibly soft and leaves her smelling amazing.

I also grabbed the Lord of Misrule shower cream 250g (£10.75) which I tend to try and grab every year, it’s just a must have in my bathroom and I also grabbed the Lord of Misrule bath bomb (£3.95). Lord of Misrule has a herbal blend of patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper with an intriguing vanilla absolute sweetness, again with most Lush things it smells pretty darn incredible with the scent lingering on your skin hours after.

Lastly I grabbed the Secret Arts jelly bomb (£4.95), i’m a huge fan of anything spooky and Harry Potter so this is perfect! Secret Arts has cinnamon leaf oil, Brazilian orange oil and sweet almond essential oil. I’ve not yet tried this one i’m saving it for one of those much needed pamper days but the sound of cinnamon leaf oil is perfect for these colder nights.

Lush Ickle Baby Bot & Silky Underwear

Another Lush post, sorry guys but I am literally obsessed with Lush lately. I am either going in myself or sending my partner into work to pick up bits for me! I wanted a couple of bits for my little girl to make bath time a little more fun and exciting so I decided to get her some little bath bombs.

I actually picked Silky Underwear Dusting powder (£4.50) up by accident as I was looking for the No Drought dry shampoo and picked the wrong thing up! silly me. I realised my mistake once I got home and was looking through my goodies, though it was not a problem as I could use it for both me and Scarlett. I used this one on my little lady after bath time and have instantly fallen in love with it, her skin is so soft and smells amazing. This dusting powder contains cocoa butter and corn starch which softens your skin, also containing jasmine and vertivert fragrance making you smell absolutely amazing. I have found that after using the dusting powder on her skin it doesn’t dry it out unlike talc.

I also decided to grab a couple of the Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb (£1.95), this super cute robot bath bomb is packed with lavender oil to help those little ones off to a better nights sleep. Scarlett loves this bath bomb as it turns the water into a silky blue bath making her skin feel amazingly soft afterwards. I would definitely recommend this product to other parents as I believe it does help my little girl have a better nights sleep.

What’s your favourite Lush product?

LUSH Haul Part 1

Just before christmas me and my partner bought a huge LUSH haul for our christmas present and went all out using his 50% staff discount! There was a few bits that I have seen quite a few times and really wanted to try out so I thought that I would purchase them now.

Pop Gift Set (RRP £49.50 – No Longer Available)

“This one is a must for bath bomb fanatics! Pop open the box to discover ten different bath bombs packed with fizz, sparkle, popping candy and calming fragrances – and bursting with a kaleidoscope of colours.”

I am a sucker for bath times it is just the most perfect place to unwind and relax so my addiction to LUSH products go hand in hand, making this gift set perfect for me. This box is jam packed with LUSH’s 10 most popular bath bombs and I can definitely see why!

Avobath (RRP £3.35)

“Avobath in the morning to help you face the day: its lemongrass and bergamot oils will pick you up while also tackling dryness with avocado and olive oil. It contains lustre, which gives a shimmering green effect to the water, but will leave your skin feeling dazzling without the dazzle. It also contains lots of mashed avocado and olive oil to tackle dehydration, making this an excellent choice for dry skin sufferers.”

I have heard really good things about this bath bomb so I was definitely excited to see that this was included in the box. Especially as I have been back at work my hands get incredibly dry from wearing gloves all day so the mashed avocado will definitely perk them up.

Granny Takes A Dip (RRP £3.35)

“This ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath bomb turns your water psychedelic and puts some colour in your life. Simply drop into a warm bath and watch as its fizzing centre dissolves into multi-coloured waters. Its spicy, citrusy scent will pep you up: lemon oil boosts the mood, while ginger and pepper are warming.”

I love psychedelic colours, it makes it look so pretty quite like northern lights! so again another perfect bath bomb for me. Filling your bath with streams of colour leaving your bathroom smelling gorgeous from the citrus scents.

Phoenix Rising (RRP £3.35)

“A mystical, shimmering purple and green layered bath bomb that rises in the water on a cloud of exotic spice fragrance. When your skin is feeling over-cooked and in desperate need of hydration, the luxurious blend of cocoa and shea butters will have you rising out of the bath with soft, luscious skin. Its rich, cinnamon fragrance will also lift your mood if you’re feeling out of sorts.”

I have had my eye on this bath bomb for quite a while as I absolutely adore the smell of cinnamon – it definitely makes me not want to get out of the bath. This bath bomb leaves your skin feeling amazingly soft afterwards due to the blend of cocoa and shea butters.

Sex Bomb (RRP £3.35)

“When you’ve got that feeling – tired, stressed out and anxious – you need some sensual healing. The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will soon have you relaxed and feeling in the mood… Jasmine is an ancient aphrodisiac, used as a sensual perfume in India for centuries and in aromatherapy to ease stress and anxiety. Clary sage clears the mind, while ylang ylang is renowned for soothing worries.”

I absolutely adore the scent of this bath bomb, it leaves my bath water a gorgeous colour and so silky. Though the petals were clumpy and did not dissolve so I have to scoop them out, but non the less this still has to be one of my favourite bath bombs.

Honey Bee (RRP £3.35)

“A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.”

Honey Bee is one that I am not so keen on unfortunately, I just do not think it does anything for me which mainly might be down to that it leaves the water yellow which does not look very inviting.

Blackberry (RRP £3.35)

“As soon as you drop this into your bath, tension is banished as the bergamot and frankincense oils are released. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension, and is both relaxing and uplifting as well as antibacterial. You’ll soon feel calmed as frankincense oil helps slow down breathing and induces a feeling of wellbeing.”

I have been waiting for the right moment to use this bath bomb, but it definitely ticks all the right boxes so far! especially as it turns your bath water purple.

Dragons Egg (No Longer Available)

“Dragon’s Egg makes bathtime exciting as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day. Its citrus scents leave you feeling transformed and invigorated.”

I absolutely adore this bath bomb, it is full of surprises. I am a huge fan of LUSH’s citrus scents so upon first reading the description of this I definitely needed buy this again.

Fizzbanger (RRP £3.35)

“A Catherine wheel of a bath bomb. It changes colour as it fizzes, crackling with popping candy as it goes and releasing first a citrussy apple and then a cinnamon, apple pie like scent with a hint of ylang ylang. Petitgrain is used in aromatherapy to calm the breathing, slow the heartbeat and reduce feelings of anxiety. Ylang ylang produces a feeling of joy, and cinnamon leaf oil helps you let go.”

Another of my favourite scents is cinnamon, but citrus and cinnamon in one bath bomb I was not too sure on. Though that said this bath bomb smells absolutely divine leaving me feeling well and truly stress free and pampered. Another reason I love bath bombs is the colours, with this bomb it turns your water into a gorgeous blend of blue, greens and yellow.

Twilight (RRP £3.35)

“If sleep is evading you, this combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night’s rest. As Twilight dissolves, it turns from the colour of the setting sun and gets darker, turning your water a shimmering deep purple. The fragrance has been designed to help you sleep: lavender is a soothing, mind-clearing and calming fragrance, used in aromatherapy to treat insomnia and aid restful sleep, while benzoin and tonka call to mind a milky caramel malt drink.”

This is another bath bomb that I have heard good things about, and it has definitely not disappointed. I absolutely adore the deep purple it turns your bath water into – did I mention I love purple!? It definitely gets you ready to climb into bed afterwards.

Think Pink (RRP £2.65)

“A relaxing pink bath bomb with a sweet vanilla and tonka fragrance. As it dissolves, you’ll feel as though you’re getting a big hug – you’ll find yourself surrounded by rice paper confetti hearts that slowly melt away. Its sweet scent comes from Fair Trade vanilla absolute, while tonka adds a caramel undertone. Neroli gives it a sunny citrus top note, while lavender clears your mind and makes you feel that life is sweet.”

When I used this bath bomb I did not read up on it so the little confetti hearts were a lovely surprise. This gift box is definitely packed with some amazing bath bombs!

Jackie Oates Foundation (RRP £9.50)

“This is ideal for smoothing those with pale complexions that need soothing. It’s made with oat milk as a base, which helps to calm skin down, to which we’ve added loads of nurturing shea butter, honey, aloe vera and glycerine to hydrate and even out tone. As pale skins need to be careful in the sunshine, we’ve added titanium dioxide. Mix a little with your favourite moisturiser and apply to clean skin evenly.”

I have been using MAC Studio Fix until about a month ago as I want to try and convert my everyday products to cruelty free. I must say that I am impressed with this, it is perfect for my skin tone which I find extremely hard to match with drug store foundations as I find it still gives a yellowish tint. The foundation feels super light, looks natural and is totally natural. The only thing is that it does not cover over those pesky red spots but that is nothing a little concealer will not fix. I have also found that it stays put throughout the day without making my face oily.

Light Pink Foundation (RRP £9.50)

“For those fair of face, this is our second lightest colour supplement. This works wonders evening out complexions while protecting and nurturing. We blend in the pigment to a cream base of gentle rose petal infusion, which helps to reduce redness, vitamin E-rich rice bran oil for adding moisture, and titanium dioxide to help protect the skin from the sun. Mix a little with your favourite moisturiser and apply to clean skin evenly.”

I bought this as I was not quite sure which foundation tone matched my skin but I thought that it would look great mixed with Jackie Oates if I wanted to brighten up my skin tone. The foundation again is light weight, super bendable and does not look cakey. I generally apply this with a brush blending it into my face paying particular attention to my dark circles and spots.
Tea Tree Water – Toner Water 250g (£7.95)
“Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and helps keep skin clean and clear. Use any time of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup or cleanser.”
I tend to use this after removing my makeup to clear my skin and to try and prevent spots appearing. I absolutely love the smell of this toner water, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and oil free.

10872575_10152496500435974_761618856_nImages from LUSH Bury

My partner was sent over the LUSH Valentines range the other day and I could have peed myself with excitement! Here is some of the range that is available including a couple of gift sets which is definitely a must.

Prince Charming Shower Gel 100g (RRP £4.75)

The Kiss Lipgloss (RRP £5.95)

The Kiss Lip Scrub (RRP £5.50)

Lonely Heart Bubble Bar (RRP £3.50)

Floating Flower Bath Bomb (RRP £3.50)

Love Locket Bath Bomb (RRP £6.95)

Cupids Love Soap (RRP £4.25)

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar (RRP £3.25)

Heart Throb Bubble Bar (RRP £3.65)

I literally can not wait until next week and I get to test some of these goodies out for myself. My favourites have to be ‘Prince Charming’ and the ‘Unicorn Horn’, what is your favourites?

LUSH At Christmas

Have I mentioned that I love LUSH!? I am literally obsessed with their products and currently trying to convert all my everyday products with using LUSH’s. As mentioned in my previous LUSH post (here) that my partner has recently been employed by LUSH so he is given staff samples to try out for himself, he was kindly given a range of items to choose from their new christmas range (I would be in heaven). So when he brought a huge goody bag home I could not contain my excitement! I was so excited to test some of the items out as this years christmas range is amazing.

Santa Baby Lip Tint 8g (RRP £5.95)

“A Christmassy red lip tint made with cherries and dates for sweet, kissable lips. Made with Fair Trade shea butter and nourishing carrot oil to soften and moisturise, and a cinammon-sweet, cola-flavoured taste of Christmas, Santa will be hurrying down the chimney tonight. “

I absolutely adore this lip tint, the colour is simply stunning and the smell of it is just divine – definitely good enough to eat. When using the lip tint I used my finger first off to apply it but then noticed it had stained my finger for a little while so I decided to use a lip brush instead. The other downside to this product is i’ve found that it brings out the dry skin on my lips so I use Santa Baby Lip Scrub before hand. Despite the two downsides of this product I still absolutely love it.

The Melting Snowman Bath Melt (RRP £2.25)

“Warm up on cold days with this comforting Christmas spice-scented bath melt that helps you shake off festive fatigue. Made with enriching almond oil and cocoa butter, this is the only snowman you’ll enjoy watching melt away, leaving behind nothing but soft skin. Drop into your bath water and enjoy the warming essential oil blend that’s like bathing in a hot toddy.”

Seriously I love the smell of just about every LUSH product! This product is no exception from that, especially as it’s cinnamon, it just smells amazing. I’ve never actually tried one of the bath melts as I usually go for bath bombs so when I tried this out it was definitely different. When it had melted it turned the bath a milky colour which I was a little skeptical of but wow it made my skin feel great due to the almond oil and cocoa butter.

Wizard Hat Bubble Bar (RRP £3.25)

“As the weather casts a cold, frosty spell over us, there’s only one thing better than soaking in the bath: the Wizard. This magical, handmade companion will help keep your spirits bright even on the darkest days. Energizing tangerine, juniperberry and fennel essential oils help balance the skin, while its warming and uplifting scent banishes stress and helps you recover from the day. It’s pure magic for your mind, body and soul.”

Again bubble bars are another LUSH product that I have not used before until recently but they are amazing. I’ve found that breaking the bar up into bits is more effective as it lasts a lot longer, even one of those little pieces creates so many bubbles when you crumble it under running water. This bar turns the bath into a stunning light purple with little bits of non synthetic glitter floating around, which thankfully does not stick to you.

Fun Gold 200g (RRP £5)

“Have some fun with this limited edition golden version of our multi-purpose playful wash, here especially for Christmas. Glimmering gold Fun can be a soap, shampoo, a bubble bath or moulded into shimmering shapes. With a toffee-sweet, comforting and cheerful fragrance it shares with Honey I Washed the Kids, bath time will never be boring again. “

I love how this product is multi use – i’ve recently been using it for my daughter as a bubble bath and body wash which she loves. The only thing I would say about this product is that sometimes it smells a little sickly as it has a toffee-sweet scent but I love how you can mould it into different shapes which would definitely be great for those with older children.

Celebrate Body Lotion 225g (RRP £12.95)

“Give your skin cause for celebration by smoothing on this intoxicatingly citrusy body lotion with a splash of cognac. Lime oil and Brazilian orange oil lift the spirits, while cocoa butter and almond oil hydrate the skin – it’s the perfect lotion to wear for a festive night out. An alcohol-free version is also available (online only).”

I love the scent of this body lotion it kind of reminds me of those lime sweets! With this product I have found that a little bit goes a long way and only a little amount is needed otherwise it tends to make my face look and feel greasy. I tend to use a thick layer of this at night to give my face a deep moisturising and it works wonders in making my skin feel soft and hydrated.

Bûche de Noël 100g (RRP £6.50)

“The mighty Bûche de Noël is food for your face and body, with festive ingredients including satsumas, cranberries and a drop of brandy. The fresh cleanser helps to bring back radiance to wintry skin: sweet almonds, kaolin and fruits gently buff and clean. Cocoa butter softens the skin and balance is restored by its fragrant essential oils.”

This face and body cleanser is basically a festive version of Angels On Bare Skin, so if you like that then you will love this. I’ve used Angels On Bare Skin before and it is definitely one of my favourite cleansers along with Mask Of Magnaminty and Dark Angels so this festive cleanser was definitely a treat. Satsumas, cranberries and brandy definitely smells like christmas, almost good enough to eat! Bûche de Noël does a great job in keeping my skin soft, though the only downside i’d say is that it is quite crumbly so when applying it to my face half of it disappears.

Rose Jam 100g (RRP £4.75)

“Let your skin be kissed by a rose with this sweetly floral shower gel. Wrap yourself in a comforting embrace with nourishing argan oil, organic rose absolute and rose oil together with a Fair Trade vanilla pod infusion. This is an indulgent wash that lifts the spirits.”

I’m a little on the side with this product I can’t quite get used to the smell of it, it kind of reminds me of turkish delight (I know another chocolate/sweet reference) which i’m not too keen on. I don’t think I could use this as an everyday shower gel due to the scent as some days I like it and some days I don’t.

The Hedgehog Bubble Bar (RRP £3.25)

“If you’re feeling prickly this festive season, indulge in a soak with this softening bubble bar made with organic shea and cocoa butters as well as soothing essential oils. Crumble under running water and unfurl in the silky waters as the rose absolute and ylang ylang essential oil get to work on frosty moods.”

I love this super cute hedgehog bubble bar it’s adorable! the one thing that I will say though is that I really don’t like the scent of this but each to their own. I tend to crumble my bubble bars before use as I’ve found that a little piece creates so many bubbles making room for multiple uses (YAY).

Luxury Lush Pud (RRP £3.50)

“Unwind (or calm down excited children) with this soothing bath bomb. Perfect before bedtime, drop this in the bath and watch it create pastel-coloured islands in the pink water as it fizzes and froths. Sharing its fragrance with Twilight bath bomb, the comforting tonka absolute, ylang ylang, and relaxing lavender oils will help banish tension. “

As you may be able to tell I love baths especially after working a 10 hour shift and running around after my little lady so this bath bomb was perfect to help unwind and relax. As mentioned the scent of this bath bomb is shared with LUSH’s Twighlight bomb which I must say smells divine! I love this Luxury Lush Pud it looks and smells great making your water look psychedelic.

Santa Baby Lip Scrub 25g (RRP £5.50)

“Prime your pout with this moisturising cola-flavoured lip scrub that leaves your lips buffed and ready for Santa Baby – or any other Lush lip tint or balm. Caster sugar, dates and cherries scrub and soften, giving them a taste of Christmas. Dab a little on and buff, licking off the excess.”

I needed a new lip scrub after using ÊTRE Belle Cosmetics Liplift Peel as my lips are prone to becoming dry and chapped. I wanted to try out the popcorn version but after smelling this cola-flavoured scrub I had to have it – it’s good enough to eat but dead skin ew. This sugar scrub has little cute hearts jam packed throughout this glass container which is a lovely touch to he product in my opinion.

Baked Alaska 100g (RRP £3.25)

“Based on a giant snowball, this zesty soap reveals it true colours when sliced. A fresh and uplifting marriage of organic lemon myrtle, grapefruit and stress-relieving ylang ylang oil make for a sweet and refreshing blast from head to toe.”

First off WOW, this is certainly my kind of soap. It is packed full of citrus goodness and the scent stays on your skin which is great! We both love it that much that we picked up another two bars to stockpile before is disappears for another year after xmas. Another great thing about LUSH soaps is that they are cut to size and before cutting this one is a giant snowball which looks amazing.

October Favourites

This month I have been on a serious spending spree especially when it comes to LUSH products I just can’t help myself. So I have 6 favourites that stand out from all the purchased products this month.

LUSH Cosmetics Mask Of Magnaminty 315g (RRP £9.75) I purchased this at the start of October and have been using it religiously ever since it does wonders for my oily skin (see recent review). This product has a subtle scent of mint which reminds me of mint chocolate chip it smells so yummy and good enough to eat, it is not over powering which you would think a mint mask would affect your eyes but it does not. My skin is left feeling soft as a babies bottom and smelling absolutely amazing, not to mention looks great too! This shall definitely be a repurchased product when it’s finished.

LUSH Cosmetics Sparkly Pumpkin (RRP £3.50) I saw this product online when the halloween/christmas range came out but could not seem to find it in the Manchester store so when I tried the Bury store they had it thankfully just in the nick of time for halloween. This bubble bar is absolutely amazing, this will be reviewed shortly but what I can say is the amount of bubbles it creates is just awesome you can definitely give yourself a bubble beard.

LUSH Cosmetics Reindeer Rock (RRP £3.64 100g) I only just picked this product up yesterday but I have seen it online and it was definitely in my wish list. This super cute christmas soap with reindeer-embossed patterns is definitely what you need after a long day leaving you feeling calm and refreshed. An added bonus is it smells absolutely fantastic, the sweet smell of berries is definitely what drew me to this product. I cannot recommend this enough if you love fruity soaps.

Botanicals Foot Scrub (RRP £14.95 70g) & Foot Balm (RRP £15.95 50g) I was kindly sent this product from Botanicals (see review here) but this product has been a life saver for my tutsies, smoothing out that dead skin.. ew I know! But it has come at the right time due to my maternity leave ending and returning back to work soon so I shall need a good scrub for after those long days.

ÊTRE Belle Cosmetics Liplift Peel 15ml (RRP €12.95) I received this product in my October Glossybox and it could not have come at a better time, I am prone to chapped and dry lips unfortunately and it does not look the greatest especially when wearing lipstick. This product has been a lifesaver for my lips and they are left feeling so smooth it’s unreal.

Premae Mild Pro Dermabrasion 20ml (100ml RRP £25.00) I received this body scrub in my first Birchbox (review here) and I must say I was impressed with the results, the fact that this body scrub was vegan is what drew me in and made me want to use it instantly. The product was a lovely consistency and left my skin feeling so soft which is great for these upcoming winter months.

Have you used any of these products before?

Have you got an October favourites i’d like to read yours.

LUSH Cosmetics Haul!

I absolutely adore LUSH products I always want one or more of each product in the store. I decided to grab quite a few things when I visited a few weeks ago and have been testing them out since.

Mask of Magnaminty 315g (RRP £9.75)

“Easily smoothed over the skin anywhere you like, this mask is made with peppermint oil to stimulate, marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin; evening primrose seeds and aduki beans to gently exfoliate as you remove it. There’s also mineral rich kaolin to nourish, antibacterial honey, and peppermint oil to stimulate the blood cells just under the surface of your skin to leave it looking bright and refreshed.”

This face and body scrub is amazing, not only does it smell good enough to eat but it makes my skin look and feel great. The first initial impression of the scent of this scrub is that it smelt like mint chocolate which you would think would smell quite sickly and strong after 15 minutes of having it on your face but it doesn’t, it is not overpowering in the slightest. I usually use this in conjunction with ‘Dark Angels’ for what I believe to be the best results for my skin. I’ve noticed that using both it eliminates the dirt and grime from my skin (gross I know), this is evident when I use my Clinique Clarifying Lotion as when I do not use the scrubs you can see that dirt and grime. What is even better about this product is that it is self-preserving, so that it does not need to be stored in the fridge.

This product would definitely be a repurchased item when it is all used up.

Dark Angels Cleanser 100g (RRP £6.75)

“Black sugar and charcoal to exfoliate, and rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse. We also use cold pressed avocado oil and vegetable glycerine to moisturise and soften your skin after all that scrubbing, leaving your skin feeling balanced and fresh. Sandalwood and rosewood oils give a rich, earthy fragrance and have a cooling and antiseptic effect on the skin.”

As stated above I use this cleanser in conjunction with ‘Mask of Manaminty’, again this product is great for my skin. Only a small amount of this is needed I then mix with a small amount of warm water and rub together in between my hands, this is then applied all over my face and gently rub in a circular motion. My skin is left feeling so soft and I can say that it has left it looking less dull and instantly brightened. After using the scrub you would think that your skin looks quite red due to black sugar included in the ingredients but it does not.

Angels on Bare Skin 100g (RRP £6.75)

“Inspired by a mediaeval recipe and topped off with lavender flowers, this contains kaolin to absorb grease and dirt, leaving skin clean and nourished. Lavender oil and rose absolute calm the skin.”

When using this product you mix with a small amount of water, rub around in between your hands forming a paste and then rub into your skin which I usually leave to soak for 5-10 minutes. This does exactly what it says it will, I have found with some face cleansers you put it on and then wash it off when you need to and feel like it has not really done anything for my skin but this is a different story, it feels like it has throughly cleansed my skin. This product also helps in toning and brighting your skin.

Whoosh Shower Jelly 100g (£3.50)

“Its zingy fragrance and slinky feel will blast away fatigue, especially if you chill this jelly in the fridge or freezer beforehand. We’ve mixed seaweed, fresh citrus juices, rosemary and geranium oils into this pot.”

I really like this product it leaves your body feeling refreshed and awake, I have yet to try this product after it being in the fridge or the freezer. The only downside to it with being a jelly it is quite slippery and I end up dropping it quite a lot.

Honey Bee Bath Bomb (RRP £3.35)

“A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.”

This bath bomb was quite strange to use it left the water looking yellow which looked strange to bath in, I was not too keen on this bath bomb in comparison to others I have used as I felt like it did nothing for me and my skin felt no softer than before I went in the bath.

Big Blue Bath Bomb (RRP £3.35)

“Big Blue’s key ingredient is a type of kelp called arame seaweed, which softens in your hot bath water. Arame is rich in vitamins and minerals including iodine, which helps to regulate the metabolism. Sea salt softens the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells, while lemon oil clears the mind and, like lavender oil, is antiseptic and cleansing.”

I absolutely adore this bath bomb and have bought it on quite a few occasions, it turns your bath water into a gorgeous teal blue which you would see in tropical countries. As soon as you step into the bath it feels soft, but can get quite slippery so you have to watch your stepping.  This bath bomb smells amazing it has to be one of my all time favourites, it also leaves my skin feeling soft and i’m left feeling relaxed. Though when the bath bomb melts it is a little strange as kelp is floating around in the bath and does not melt but this is not off putting, I definitely need a whole tube of these.

Dragon’s Egg Bath Bomb (RRP £3.35)

“Dragon’s Egg makes bathtime exciting as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day. Its citrus scents leave you feeling transformed and invigorated.”

I really liked this bath bomb from the description when looking for others online so I decided to purchase it, I was not disappointed. It looked absolutely amazing in the bath, when the bath bomb was fizzing and changing colour it reminded me of cinder toffee it looked great with all the golden colours. Due to the name ‘Dragon’s Egg’ I was excited to see what it contained, when the bomb started dissolving you could see the inside which was like a red/orange colour. There is also bits of glitter packed into the bath bomb which was left behind in the bath when all the water is drained, what is good about this is it is easy to clean out.

Charity Pot 10g (RRP £1)

“A rich and generous cream that not only helps your skin to look its best, but also adds a glow to the small grassroots charities we work with, as all proceeds go directly to them.

With every purchase of Charity Pot, we donate 100% of the price (minus the taxes) to small, grassroots organisations that could use the helping hand to continue the incredible work that they do. Charity Pot supports organisations that align with our ethics in the areas of environmental conservation, animal welfare and human rights.”

Whenever I visit LUSH I always try to buy one of their charity pots as I love what they are doing to help charity, I keep meaning to buy a full sized version but I have so many of these 10g ones. This product is absolutely amazing for my hands, it leaves them incredibly soft especially with those winter months coming up.
