Arthur Price | Despicable Me

Despicable Me 3 has recently released in cinemas, I took the little lady to see it a couple of weeks ago and she absolutely LOVED it! it’s such a good film for both adults and kids. With the new release of Despicable Me 3 to celebrate Arthur Price have released their own china and cutlery range, so if your kids love Despicable Me then they will definitely love this, I must admit I am slightly jealous.

I was kindly sent over their *Sea of Minions three piece set (£24.95) and their *Sea of Minions four piece set of cutlery (£24.95) which has made meal time that little bit more exciting for the little one. Scarlett could barely contain her excitement to allow me to take photos before hand, to be honest I know exactly how she feels with that one when I buy a new product for the blog I literally don’t want to wait for a nice sunny day to take photos before using it and sometimes I sneakily use it.

The Sea of Minions three piece set comes with a little china cup, bowl and plate and the four piece cutlery set comes with four stainless steel cutlery including a knife, fork, tea spoon and spoon. The sets are vibrant to make meal times more fun and exciting for the little ones, Scarlett loves having her cereal from the minions bowl in the mornings. The sets are lightweight, high quality and dishwasher safe. All of their Despicable Me items come with free delivery and 15 year guarantee.

Childrens Christmas Gift Guide

animated-christmas-lights-gif-10-jul-2013-02-07-35k-lmn8nk-clipart

It’s December!!! Seriously where has this year gone?! it’s flown by, so that means it’s time for Christmas. I used to always dread Christmas time since my mum passed so i’d often work Christmas Day with working in the care sector but since having Scarlett I get so excited for her, now she’s almost 3 years old she knows what Christmas is, it is truly amazing seeing her eyes light up.

The only downside to Christmas now is that I have absolutely no idea what to get her, so I complied a list of her favourite things such as shows etc and bought her at least one item of each. I’m sure I am not the only parent that struggles with what gifts to buy their kids so I thought this gift guide might help.

Trolls headphones (£19.99), Amazon Fire kids tablet (£100), Mermaid knitted blanket (£11.98), Shopkins set (£4.49), Shopkins pjs (£6.49), Trolls bedding (£10.49), My little pony (£14.99), Paw patrol toy (£9.99)

Children’s Christmas Eve Box

xmaseve1 xmaseve2

My husband stumbled upon a Christmas Eve box for children last year filled with all sorts of goodies that your baby/toddler/child can open on Christmas Eve to get into the Christmas spirit and in my opinion it’s a bloody good idea. We did one last year but because Scarlett was only 9 months at the time she was a little young for it, though non the less she enjoyed watching The Snowman in some gorgeous thumper pjs in the middle of a chaotic house move, yes we did move on Boxing Day! eek.

So, we want to make it a tradition that every year she has a little special box that the elves bring her before heading off to santa to get her presents ready for the morning! I think i’m more excited than she is to be honest.

What’s in the box?

The Grinch DVD (£3, ASDA)

Frozen Colouring Book (£3, The Entertainer Shop)

Bic Pencil Crayons (£1.50, Wilkinsons)

Fleece Pjs (£6.99, ASDA)

Thorntons Snowman Chocolate (£2, ASDA)

It doesn’t have to burn a hole into your pocket and cost the earth and you can tailor it to what you like!

What do you think?

Christmas Eve box!

Hello!! I do apologise that I have not had a fresh blog post out for the past couple of weeks, we have been in the process of moving and getting the internet in the new place. I know this post features christmas but I thought it would make a lovely post and if anyone wants to take it into account for their little ones next year.

My partner is forever online looking up things, which I guess is a great thing as he stumbled upon this christmas eve box for your little ones, generally the box contains a DVD, PJs, hot chocolate and chocolate that they can open on the night. I absolutely loved this idea and have adapted it to our little family tradition and what better to start it off as Scarlett’s first christmas!

What I added to the box:

Bambi Sleep Suit & Body Suit (RRP £8) ASDA

SMA Ready Made Milk (RRP £0.96) ASDA

Milky Way Chocolate Bar

The Snowman DVD (RRP £8) Argos

Rabbit Bear (RRP £1) Primark

She absolutely loved the box and would definitely recommend this to other parents if they are looking for new ideas for their kids.
