Arthur Price | Despicable Me

Despicable Me 3 has recently released in cinemas, I took the little lady to see it a couple of weeks ago and she absolutely LOVED it! it’s such a good film for both adults and kids. With the new release of Despicable Me 3 to celebrate Arthur Price have released their own china and cutlery range, so if your kids love Despicable Me then they will definitely love this, I must admit I am slightly jealous.

I was kindly sent over their *Sea of Minions three piece set (£24.95) and their *Sea of Minions four piece set of cutlery (£24.95) which has made meal time that little bit more exciting for the little one. Scarlett could barely contain her excitement to allow me to take photos before hand, to be honest I know exactly how she feels with that one when I buy a new product for the blog I literally don’t want to wait for a nice sunny day to take photos before using it and sometimes I sneakily use it.

The Sea of Minions three piece set comes with a little china cup, bowl and plate and the four piece cutlery set comes with four stainless steel cutlery including a knife, fork, tea spoon and spoon. The sets are vibrant to make meal times more fun and exciting for the little ones, Scarlett loves having her cereal from the minions bowl in the mornings. The sets are lightweight, high quality and dishwasher safe. All of their Despicable Me items come with free delivery and 15 year guarantee.

Spooky Eyes

I was kindly accepted onto an EtailPR campaign for Spooky Eyes, which are a UK based company  who specialise in crazy, natural and Halloween cosmetic contact lenses. Spooky Eyes also stock over 500 designs for different occasions are great prices. If you have worked with EtailPR before then you know the drill that you choose 3 different samples as your first, second and third choice which I managed to get my first in this case (YAY).

11082847_10152635081815974_921517038_n

I was sent the *Spooky Eyes Black Contact Lenses (28.95$), I have always wanted to have black contact lenses so bad, every time that I have seen them in vampire or demon films I always think that they look super cool so that’s where that has sprung from.

I have actually never used contact lenses before so I was unsure how to actually put them in and was extremely thankful that my partner was to hand as he wears prescription contacts so he helped me. Putting them in was a total struggle for me, at any point that they were going anywhere near my eyeball I kept blinking which was such a pain in the arse though no fault of Spooky Eyes but down to my own inexperience. Once I had finally got the contacts in, which literally took forever I must admit that they looked awesome but it took some getting used to as my eyes are quite a light blue and something was stuck to my eyeball. The contact lenses took a few minutes to get used to especially if you have never worn them before but after those first few minutes they feel really comfortable. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was that I could still see my original part of my eye colour and the contact lenses were not completely blacked out however that may be because my pupils were not dilated as you can see from my photo.

Overall, I am extremely impressed with the lenses at Spooky Eyes I love that they have such a wide range of contact lenses for a number of events or just to wear, I would definitely recommend them to others.

Fancy some awesome funky eyes? Check out Spooky Eyes over on their store.

*Passion For Natural Aloe Vera Range

I was kindly sent these two Aloe Vera items from the Passion For Natural range to review. If you have never heard of Passion For Natural before then they have a “range of products that provide you with the active benefits of it’s natural components, delivered with elegance and satisfaction by using the finest materials that are available. Passion For Natural have aimed to create the very best and most effective, modern skincare experience.” Passion For Natural’s product range is also 100% natural made with organic aloe vera and free from any parabens which I always try to look out for.

I have not tried anything from this company before nor have I heard of them before so I was extremely excited to test these products out. I was sent the *Aloe Vera Body Scrub (£10.95) which aims to gently and effectively exfoliate your skin. The packaging is lovely, the scrub comes in a lockable clasp container which is different from what I have seen from most scrubs which are in bottles, instantly feeling high quality. What I like about this product is that it contains walnut shell to exfoliate your skin gently without being too abrasive leaving your skin looking red for. I have also found that after using this scrub it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and clean.

I was also sent the *Aloe Vera Gel (£7.69) which is a soft hydrating gel designed for an instant cooling relief to dry skin patches and irritated areas of the skin. I currently have a few little dry patches on my stomach and this gel has worked wonders for it as I tend to itch it. This is quite a thick gel so a little really does go a long way in this case and it lasts quite a long while. What I find great about this product is that it absorbs into the skin quite quickly so your not having to wait around with a wet face. The gel is multi use so you can use it on dry, irritated, sunburnt and sensitive skin.

Overall, I am really happy with the products that I have tested out, the Aloe range from Passion For Natural is great in my opinion and would definitely recommend it to others. The Aloe Vera Body Scrub contains walnut shell to gently exfoliate any dead skin and the Aloe Vera Gel is cooling but yet at the same time moisturising.

Glossybox February

glossybox

Glossybox February Edition (£10 + P&P)

For those who do not know, Glossybox is a monthly subscription costing £10 plus P&P which allows you to try out 4-6 different products (some full sized) ranging from hair to skincare. All subscribers got a sneak peak in their January box that they would all receive the Royal Apothic Tinties which I was excited for from seeing the privew.

Apologies for the late Glossybox post, I know it would have been suitable for Valentines day oops. I absolutely loved this months Glossybox packaging, it was perfect for Valentines day with the gorgeous pink printed lettering for the box lid. Unfortunately for you guys this months box has sold out.

This months Glossybox included 5 full sized products which was a lovely treat, with the added bonus of a packet of love hearts (YUMMY) to fit in with the Valentines theme. Right, enough rambling time to reveal the contents of the box.

So in this months box I received the Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk (£9.99), because I do not wax I am forever needing new razors! (hair is a huge pain in the butt!) so I was  really happy that this was included in the box, plus it helps you pamper and prepare for your Valentines night. I also received the MARSK Mineral Eyeshadow – Fifty Shades (£14.49) Hi-5 to Glossybox for included a Fifty Shades themed product in this months box. I absolutely adore the shade of this mineral eyeshadow, I am a sucker for greys and it just looks simply stunning on. I have found that this eyeshadow is easily blended which is always a bonus and creates a great smokey eye look.

As teased in the January box the Royal Apothic Tinties – Coral ($14) was included to every subscriber, I absolutely adore the rose gold packaging on the lid and the outer box packaging is beautiful.  This lip tint is a subtle coral colour which looks gorgeous matched with my pale skin, it also has a trio of oils to moisturise your lips. This Royal Apothic Tinties has now become my handbag favourite. Speaking of rose gold, I received this So Susan Rose Quartlet Lip & Cheek Palette (£8) which comes in a gorgeous black palette with rose gold writing on the lid. Upon first impressions of this palette it does look quite cheap, like what you would get in a child’s makeup set, now that might just be me and this may not be the case with the full sized product. Though that being said, I do like the shades that are in this lip and cheek palette especially the red it is gorgeous on.

Last but not least I received the Got2Be All Start 10 in 1 Styling (£4.07), the packaging is so vibrant with them using metallic purple and green, you can definitely not miss this if you lost it. I am definitely excited to use this product as I hate my hair being flat and lifeless so it will be interesting to find out what kind of looks it creates.

Overall, I am definitely pleased with this months box! It has included 5 full sized products which is always nice to receive. My favourite products of the box have to be the MARSK Mineral Eyeshadow and Royal Apothic Tinties, these are both brands that I have never heard of and I am certainly glad I have tried them.

Have you received the February Glossybox? What was your favourite product?

Denman D3 AnarKitty Ruby Brush

denman

*Denman – AnarKitty ‘Ruby’ D3 Brush (RRP £7.50)

I was kindly gifted this *AnarKitty ‘Ruby’ Brush from Denman to review, this one of their latest Valentines special edition brushes available on their website. Denman have teamed up with AnarKitty to create this stunning red D3 brush which resembles the 20s era. The brush is highly influenced by ‘The Great Gatsby’, ‘Mad Men’, Denman and AnarKitty, creating an image which displays the fashion and culture of women from the ‘flapper girl’ period

The image on the brush is of a 1920’s style woman wearing the famous flapper dress which is printed on a stunning gloss ruby red background. The image of the woman also features the iconic 1920’s finger wave hairstyle which has been finished with the Denman crown giving it that modern twist.

Firstly I must comment on how gorgeous the packaging is, a lovely matte cream and black box with subtle gold and red gloss accents. The handle is a gorgeous plastic ruby red with ‘AK’ printed in black and the Denman logo debossed into it. This brush certainly looks and feels high quality and as for the brush part, there is a white thick rubber with the letter ‘D’ and the Denmark crown embossed onto it. The bristles on the brush as longer than your average hair brush with a rounded tip so not to hurt your scalp while using.

I have insanely knotted hair and will wake up in the morning with the hair of Russell Brand which means that I am forever brushing and taming it. With this Denman brush I have found that it just glides through the knots in my hair and I can honestly say it has been a life saver every morning, and my hair is definitely easier to maintain with this brush, it has found its way into my handbag!

Have you tried any Denman brushes? What is your favourite?

Glossybox January

glossybox jan

Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with December’s Glossybox as it was quite underwhelming, but the sneak peak said that there will be 4 full sized products as well as Kueshi Natural & Pleasant Cosmetics Revitalising Face Toner.

For those who do not know what Glossybox is, it is a monthly subscription costing £10 plus P&P, which allows you to try out 4-6 different products (some full sized) ranging from hair to skincare. A spoiler was included in January’s Glossybox that all subscribers would receive a Royal Apotic Tinties Lip Butter next month.

Whats in the box?

Hello Fresh £25 gift card

This I was excited to try out after watching some youtube unboxing videos, the vegi box looks great so I definitely will be ordering from them to see what it is like for myself.

Mememe Eye Pencil – Clay (RRP £4)

“The British-born brand has created the perfect eye-pencil, long-lasting but extra soft so it easily glides along lashes without pulling at skin. We picked this clay shade because it suits all eye colours and is a day-to-night staple”

First off I absolutely adore this shade! it really does bring out my blue eyes looking fantastic with my W7 In The Buff palette. As for long-lasting, I used it to do a cat eye today and it really did not last long unfortunately, but it is soft as it claims and glides along my eyelid.

Kueshi Natural and Pleasant Cosmetics Revitalising Face Toner (RRP €10.70)

“Our latest skincare discovery has one purpose: to re-balance modern skin with a clever alchemy of natural ingredients and science-led formulations. This toner contains a soothing blend of calendula, chamomile and aloe vera to calm and rehydrate skin.”

In terms of packaging it is a really thin plastic bottle which to me feels quite cheap, but it is a natural face toner so I am excited to test it out and see if I like it. The toner smells absolutely amazing due to chamomile and aloe vera.

Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow (RRP £10)

“The brand is known for fun, fool proof and unfailingly simple to use make-up. This brightening gel is great for problem skin (as it is oil free) and is packed with micronised pearlescent pigments that catch the light, highlighting the face for a radiant glow that doesn’t look glittery.”

When applied it’s quite a glittery bronze colour but looks absolutely stunning when blended which is definitely great for highlighting those brow and cheek bones. I have found that the formula blends really well and absorbs into the skin perfectly as it is oil free.

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm Superfruits (RRP €5)

“Some balms taste a little waxy for our liking but this 100% natural formula is sweet tasting, packed full of oils from some of the world’s most anti-oxidant rich fruits and berries and leaves nourished and subtly sheeny.”

This lip balm is blueberry, ace, goji, baobab and pomegranate and god does it smell amazing leaving you wanting to lick your lips afterwards! This is perfect for the colder months to combat chapped lips.

Nika K New York Colourluxe Powder Blush – Romantic (RRP €8.95)

“Say hello to loose powder blush without the mess. Packed in a faux metal pot complete with a soft, powder puff applicator, this blush is easy to apply and won’t cause a powder explosion at the bottom of your handbag”

I absolutely adore the packing on this product, the rose gold lid is definitely a lovely touch. The blusher even has a little mirror on top which makes it perfect for those handbags. This blusher really is mess free with the built in powder puff applicator which is absolutely brilliant for those on the go. Last but not least this shade is absolutely perfect for my pale skin, it instantly makes me look brighter.

Though I have been quite disappointed with this months box it is packed with new brands that I have not tried before which I am always keen on, my most favourite product of the box has to be the Nika K powder blush.

What did you think of this months box? I would love to know!

LUSH Haul Part 1

lushhaul

Just before christmas me and my partner bought a huge LUSH haul for our christmas present and went all out using his 50% staff discount! There was a few bits that I have seen quite a few times and really wanted to try out so I thought that I would purchase them now.

Pop Gift Set (RRP £49.50 – No Longer Available)

“This one is a must for bath bomb fanatics! Pop open the box to discover ten different bath bombs packed with fizz, sparkle, popping candy and calming fragrances – and bursting with a kaleidoscope of colours.”

I am a sucker for bath times it is just the most perfect place to unwind and relax so my addiction to LUSH products go hand in hand, making this gift set perfect for me. This box is jam packed with LUSH’s 10 most popular bath bombs and I can definitely see why!

Avobath (RRP £3.35)

“Avobath in the morning to help you face the day: its lemongrass and bergamot oils will pick you up while also tackling dryness with avocado and olive oil. It contains lustre, which gives a shimmering green effect to the water, but will leave your skin feeling dazzling without the dazzle. It also contains lots of mashed avocado and olive oil to tackle dehydration, making this an excellent choice for dry skin sufferers.”

I have heard really good things about this bath bomb so I was definitely excited to see that this was included in the box. Especially as I have been back at work my hands get incredibly dry from wearing gloves all day so the mashed avocado will definitely perk them up.

Granny Takes A Dip (RRP £3.35)

“This ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath bomb turns your water psychedelic and puts some colour in your life. Simply drop into a warm bath and watch as its fizzing centre dissolves into multi-coloured waters. Its spicy, citrusy scent will pep you up: lemon oil boosts the mood, while ginger and pepper are warming.”

I love psychedelic colours, it makes it look so pretty quite like northern lights! so again another perfect bath bomb for me. Filling your bath with streams of colour leaving your bathroom smelling gorgeous from the citrus scents.

Phoenix Rising (RRP £3.35)

“A mystical, shimmering purple and green layered bath bomb that rises in the water on a cloud of exotic spice fragrance. When your skin is feeling over-cooked and in desperate need of hydration, the luxurious blend of cocoa and shea butters will have you rising out of the bath with soft, luscious skin. Its rich, cinnamon fragrance will also lift your mood if you’re feeling out of sorts.”

I have had my eye on this bath bomb for quite a while as I absolutely adore the smell of cinnamon – it definitely makes me not want to get out of the bath. This bath bomb leaves your skin feeling amazingly soft afterwards due to the blend of cocoa and shea butters.

Sex Bomb (RRP £3.35)

“When you’ve got that feeling – tired, stressed out and anxious – you need some sensual healing. The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will soon have you relaxed and feeling in the mood… Jasmine is an ancient aphrodisiac, used as a sensual perfume in India for centuries and in aromatherapy to ease stress and anxiety. Clary sage clears the mind, while ylang ylang is renowned for soothing worries.”

I absolutely adore the scent of this bath bomb, it leaves my bath water a gorgeous colour and so silky. Though the petals were clumpy and did not dissolve so I have to scoop them out, but non the less this still has to be one of my favourite bath bombs.

Honey Bee (RRP £3.35)

“A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.”

Honey Bee is one that I am not so keen on unfortunately, I just do not think it does anything for me which mainly might be down to that it leaves the water yellow which does not look very inviting.

Blackberry (RRP £3.35)

“As soon as you drop this into your bath, tension is banished as the bergamot and frankincense oils are released. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension, and is both relaxing and uplifting as well as antibacterial. You’ll soon feel calmed as frankincense oil helps slow down breathing and induces a feeling of wellbeing.”

I have been waiting for the right moment to use this bath bomb, but it definitely ticks all the right boxes so far! especially as it turns your bath water purple.

Dragons Egg (No Longer Available)

“Dragon’s Egg makes bathtime exciting as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day. Its citrus scents leave you feeling transformed and invigorated.”

I absolutely adore this bath bomb, it is full of surprises. I am a huge fan of LUSH’s citrus scents so upon first reading the description of this I definitely needed buy this again.

Fizzbanger (RRP £3.35)

“A Catherine wheel of a bath bomb. It changes colour as it fizzes, crackling with popping candy as it goes and releasing first a citrussy apple and then a cinnamon, apple pie like scent with a hint of ylang ylang. Petitgrain is used in aromatherapy to calm the breathing, slow the heartbeat and reduce feelings of anxiety. Ylang ylang produces a feeling of joy, and cinnamon leaf oil helps you let go.”

Another of my favourite scents is cinnamon, but citrus and cinnamon in one bath bomb I was not too sure on. Though that said this bath bomb smells absolutely divine leaving me feeling well and truly stress free and pampered. Another reason I love bath bombs is the colours, with this bomb it turns your water into a gorgeous blend of blue, greens and yellow.

Twilight (RRP £3.35)

“If sleep is evading you, this combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night’s rest. As Twilight dissolves, it turns from the colour of the setting sun and gets darker, turning your water a shimmering deep purple. The fragrance has been designed to help you sleep: lavender is a soothing, mind-clearing and calming fragrance, used in aromatherapy to treat insomnia and aid restful sleep, while benzoin and tonka call to mind a milky caramel malt drink.”

This is another bath bomb that I have heard good things about, and it has definitely not disappointed. I absolutely adore the deep purple it turns your bath water into – did I mention I love purple!? It definitely gets you ready to climb into bed afterwards.

Think Pink (RRP £2.65)

“A relaxing pink bath bomb with a sweet vanilla and tonka fragrance. As it dissolves, you’ll feel as though you’re getting a big hug – you’ll find yourself surrounded by rice paper confetti hearts that slowly melt away. Its sweet scent comes from Fair Trade vanilla absolute, while tonka adds a caramel undertone. Neroli gives it a sunny citrus top note, while lavender clears your mind and makes you feel that life is sweet.”

When I used this bath bomb I did not read up on it so the little confetti hearts were a lovely surprise. This gift box is definitely packed with some amazing bath bombs!

Jackie Oates Foundation (RRP £9.50)

“This is ideal for smoothing those with pale complexions that need soothing. It’s made with oat milk as a base, which helps to calm skin down, to which we’ve added loads of nurturing shea butter, honey, aloe vera and glycerine to hydrate and even out tone. As pale skins need to be careful in the sunshine, we’ve added titanium dioxide. Mix a little with your favourite moisturiser and apply to clean skin evenly.”

I have been using MAC Studio Fix until about a month ago as I want to try and convert my everyday products to cruelty free. I must say that I am impressed with this, it is perfect for my skin tone which I find extremely hard to match with drug store foundations as I find it still gives a yellowish tint. The foundation feels super light, looks natural and is totally natural. The only thing is that it does not cover over those pesky red spots but that is nothing a little concealer will not fix. I have also found that it stays put throughout the day without making my face oily.

Light Pink Foundation (RRP £9.50)

“For those fair of face, this is our second lightest colour supplement. This works wonders evening out complexions while protecting and nurturing. We blend in the pigment to a cream base of gentle rose petal infusion, which helps to reduce redness, vitamin E-rich rice bran oil for adding moisture, and titanium dioxide to help protect the skin from the sun. Mix a little with your favourite moisturiser and apply to clean skin evenly.”

I bought this as I was not quite sure which foundation tone matched my skin but I thought that it would look great mixed with Jackie Oates if I wanted to brighten up my skin tone. The foundation again is light weight, super bendable and does not look cakey. I generally apply this with a brush blending it into my face paying particular attention to my dark circles and spots.
Tea Tree Water – Toner Water 250g (£7.95)
“Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and helps keep skin clean and clear. Use any time of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup or cleanser.”
I tend to use this after removing my makeup to clear my skin and to try and prevent spots appearing. I absolutely love the smell of this toner water, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and oil free.

LUSH Massage Bars | Dirty & Shades of Earl Grey

lushmassage

About a month ago LUSH released a new range of massage bars, these were ‘Dirty’, ‘Shades of Earl Grey’, ‘Percup’, ‘Pearl’ and ‘Yes Yes Yes’. My partner was allowed to test two bars as he works there, so naturally he went straight for the ‘Dirty’ bar as he’s in love with their ‘Dirty’ range! and he gave me an option for the other bar, so I went for ‘Shades of Earl Grey’. I was excited to try these out as I have never used LUSH’s massage bars before but have heard such good things about them – they are solid bars, when heated in between the palm of your hands it leaves an oil behind which then you can massage into your skin, or you can even used the bar directly on your body.

*Dirty Massage Bar (RRP £5.95)

“Featuring our popular spearmint and herbal Gorilla perfume, Dirty, this massage bar is also filled with cocoa powder, and vegan dark chocolate in the middle (for when you want to get really dirty).”

I absolutely love the ‘Dirty’ range scents, they are packed with the well known spearmint scent! This massage bar does not stray away from their well known scent but even smells like mint chocolate, it’s divine and so hard not to nibble on. This bar is vegan friendly which is good to see as this product can be recommended for all. Whilst testing this product out I noticed that it leaves your skin feeling super soft from the fair trade organic cocoa butter that is packed into this bar. I’ve also noticed that with many massage bars/oils it leaves your skin looking and feeling oily as it does not fully absorb into your skin but this is definitely not the case with this massage bar, it’s absorbed into your skin leaving a gorgeous scent lingering on your skin that remains for hours.

*Shades of Earl Grey Massage Bar (RRP £5.95)

“It’s no punishment to receive a massage with this bar. Submit to its sweet, sophisticated earl grey and citrus scent; revel in the richness of the melting butters as they relieve tension in your mind and body.”

I am slightly obsessed with citrus scents in LUSH products as I feel they make me feel refreshed and clean, so I decided to grab this massage bar to try out. Again like the ‘Dirty’ massage bar it leaves your skin feeling soft, non oily and leaves behind a gorgeous scent lingering on your skin which I personally think is amazing. This bar is packed with lemon and lime oils which uplift your skin and cleanses it whilst the Shea butter nourishes and hydrates your skin. I have been using this bar after a 10 hour shift at work before bedtime and it definitely leaves you feeling relaxed and uplifted.

Overall, I absolutely love both of these massage bars, they both leave your skin feeling super soft and nourished. I would love to try LUSH’S ‘Percup’ massage bar next, see what santa brings!

Essence Cosmetics | Face Makeup For £10 Challenge

image6

I was kindly sent several items to take part in a challenge and recreate a makeup look for £10 or under, of course I accepted especially as I have been loving Essence’s products at the minute – I have found them to be a great budget brand and cruelty free! The look I created cost only £7.56.

If you have never heard of Essence Cosmetics before then they are they do not test on animals but bring amazing quality for affordable prices allowing everyone to try out their brand

*Get BIG! Lashes Volume Curl Mascara (RRP £2.29)

I love mascara but usually they do not really do much for my lashes unfortunately but this I do like, this mascara is jet black which I always tend to get when it comes to choosing mascara colours. The brush is thick and brushes through your lashes easily without clumping them together.

*Quattro Eye Shadow 07 Over The Taupe (RRP £2.99)

I have used Essence’s Quattro palette before (HERE) and I must say they are great especially for what they are priced at! This ‘Over The Taupe’ palette is great for recreating a smokey eye. I used the white, light grey and dark grey to create the look shown on my eyes which I believe brings out my blue eyes. The eyeshadows are creamy, highly pigmented and stay put for quite a while.

*Kajal Eyeliner 15 Behind The Scenes (RRP £0.99)

The shade of this eyeliner is absolutely stunning! A lovely deep glittery grey which makes a change from my usual black eyeliner, I created a cat eye with this. What I love about this eyeliner is that it is creamy so it glides across your eyelids instead of pulling on them and you can also use it to create a smokey eye.

*Lipliner 06 Satin Mauve (RRP £0.99)

This is probably a shade that I would not have usually have chosen but I am in love! The texture is creamy so it is super easy to apply to your lips and lasts quite a long time even through eating and drinking.

Overall, I love the look that I recreated with these products that I have used and for £7.56 it is amazing!

Have you used any of these products before? What do you think? I would love to know.

Makeup Revolution | Ultra Brightening Contour Kit

10822627_10152395403975974_398777434_n

I was kindly sent this Contour kit from Makeup Revolution to review, I have been loving their products lately – such fantastic products for affordable prices.

*Ultra Brightening Contour Kit – Ultra Fair C01 (RRP £3.50)

” Achieve sculpted & contoured professional excellence.. Our amazing kit provides everything you need for a professional sculpted and contoured finish. This multi-tasking handbag favourite does everything, to be used together to shape, or individually to freshen up and finish by brightening and illuminating.”

I am quite new to contouring as I usually just stick to foundation and a little bit of blusher to brighten my cheeks up so I do not look like a ghost so this product was quite fun to try out. This contour kit comes in either ‘Ultra Fair’ or ‘Ultra Light-Medium’ for a super low price of £3.50. This kit is quite compact so it is perfect for your handbags if a touch up is required – it even has a mini mirror too. Whilst using the highlighter I have noticed that it has quite a creamy texture allowing for easy application; only one slight swoop across the palette with your brush is needed. The blush is an absolutely stunning peachy shade which is perfect for those pale skinned ladies I am in love with it. As for the bronzer I feel it is still quite dark on my skin even though this palette is ‘Ultra Fair’ so I have been mixing it with Makeup Revolution’s ‘Pressed Powder’ in Porcelain to tone it down slightly.
10819126_10152395395180974_1683849232_n
Overall, I am pleased with the results that I have achieved from using this product, it is extremely easy to apply and blend. The product is also compact so it is a perfect size for your makeup bags/handbags.
Have you tried this product before? What did you think?

I have done a few reviews previously about their products which you can see here.

Head over to Makeup Revolution’s website by clicking their logo below. They also are currently holding an offer if you spend £25 you will also receive £25 worth of products! definitely an opportunity to not be missed.
